The essentials before you register.
MIBFL gives your bank an easy, genuinely enjoyable way to build relationships across the industry, through something your people will actually look forward to. It's free to enter, the time commitment is light, and every team is guaranteed a fixture against all 11 other participating banks over the season. Squads are made up of your own fully employed staff, so it doubles as a chance to build camaraderie internally as much as compete externally; current or recently active semi-professional and professional players aren't eligible to play. It's social and fun first, competitive second, and every institution taking part is playing by the same rules.
On the pitch, matches are 11-a-side under standard IFAB Laws of the Game, split into three 25-minute thirds with unlimited rolling substitutions, so rotating your squad is easy and nobody's committed to a full 75 minutes if they'd rather share the load. Fixtures run on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening, 8:00 PM kick-off. We're working with a number of venues to ensure there are adequate pitches to support 2 to 3 fixtures a week, so a full round of matches (6 fixtures between 12 teams) is completed every 3 weeks; a manageable addition to the calendar rather than a demanding one. Each match costs around MYR 600 to run, shared and invoiced by the league office after the round; there's no separate registration fee. The full rulebook goes out to every registered team ahead of their first match.
